About

Strategy that survives contact with implementation.

Nicolaas Dreandachrista
StrategySystemsExecution

I work on strategy and transformation problems where financial institutions, data, and technology converge.

Across PwC Southeast Asia, Altha Consulting, and DPO&Co., I have worked on core-banking transformation, enterprise architecture, investment diligence, technology markets, and commercial growth.

My technical products and venture work are evidence of execution: I can move beyond the recommendation, structure the data and operating logic behind it, and build a system people can actually use.

Why this work matters

Building systems
worthy of
public trust.

My mission is to help institutions move resources and information more reliably, so that better decisions can become better outcomes.

01

Where the mission began

Coming from Indonesia, I grew up seeing that development is not an abstract policy concept. It is visible in the distance between communities and essential services, in the uneven capacity of institutions, and in how effectively public resources become opportunities for people. That shaped my interest in the systems behind development: how capital is mobilized, how information moves, and how institutions make decisions that ultimately affect lives.

02

Why information integrity matters

My path through Information Systems, core-banking transformation, technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and financial analysis has shown me that the quality of a decision is inseparable from the integrity of the information behind it. A discrepancy may appear technical, but inside a financial institution it can affect reporting, governance, risk management, and confidence in how resources are administered.

03

Why development finance

This conviction strongly resonates with the World Bank Group’s mission. Ending poverty and promoting development on a livable planet requires ambitious policies and financing, but also dependable systems through which commitments can be monitored, disbursements understood, and decisions made responsibly. For IDA, financial data represents resources intended for countries facing some of the world’s greatest development challenges.

04

What I want to contribute

I want to bring together the structured thinking I developed in consulting, my understanding of financial institutions, my foundation in data and information systems, and my instinct for turning complexity into clear, usable products. I am most motivated by work where I can investigate independently, develop and test an idea, and refine it through collaboration with experienced colleagues.

05

The career I am building

Ultimately, I want to help complex institutions work better for the people who depend on them. My aim is to move comfortably between financial context, technical implementation, and stakeholder needs, and use that range to build intelligent, trustworthy systems that let institutions act with greater precision, transparency, and impact.
